REFLECTION
Growing up my taste in color shifted from the skyey oceanic blue to the solar fiery orange, and I now looked back at this change wondering how and why it happened. Despite the fondness of vibrant color, my practice in art, from sculpture and drawing to jewelry, merely involves any application of color, and when I started working with enamel and resin along with silver and copper, the quest of finding the right color became a puzzle. I was a bit trapped with the idea of assigning meanings to different colors. The process of putting colors together, like a child doing a puzzle, is meaningful enough, since together they are the reflection of me.
