Our keywords for this project are reduction printing, color filter, iteration, pop art, error, reinterpretation.
The image are created and layered with either RGB color or CYMK color, two major color genrating system. With each color layer reveals and adds to the previous layer, more and more details of the pictures we choose revealed and the color of the picture become more and more realitisc and accurate to the actual photo.
We are inspired by the comtemporay pop artist Andy Warhol. He maniuplates the occasional color errors of printing industry and uses in silkscreen printmaking. At the same time, we want to experiment the cymk printing process in p5 photo making, and to see happens when code trys to layer colors together.
